Anniversary Edition

(with a double feature)

On this day, a year ago, this derivative fan series officially began in this page. Ever since them,

an unbelievable progress has been made in an unexpectedly short period of time.

Regardless, there are still many, many projects that I still have in mind, some being simple or silly

ideas for the current month, others being ambitious goals for a distant future. As I gather

experience as an artist and writer, I am thankful for having the time and

freedom to express myself.

But above all else, I thank you currently reading this.

For being patient and for sticking around.

You are the best.

After what felt like ages, the first chapter of the novella series has been completed.

These are different from lore entries, they are more character centered and even come with illustrations to complement the story. The hub has also been updated for that reason.

If anything goes wrong again I have a plan B.

As I write this, the computer I use for art projects is going through (potential) hardware issues. Thankfully no important files were lost, but until the issue is solved, all upcoming projects will be on hiatus until second notice.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

This update is all about fairies.

As it was hinted on the hub, the first lore entry has been added. This is the beginning of a different style of uploads that will emphasize expanding the world and showcasing character interactions. For those who are paying attention to the hub, the next project should be obvious enough.

Happy 2022

Progress on the next projects have been coming along slowly but smoothly. Just like with the character bios, I am taking my time to polish character designs and writing as much as possible. As always, there are also other art projects that may take away some of the time.

There is no exact prediction for when the next NGD related entry will be released, but the hub should give a clue for what kind of content it will be.

For all of you, I appreciate your patience.

Happy holidays. Here is a two for one Christmas gift.

First of all, the final character to be added is the first boss, the reason is because she is the reason why NGD even exists. I was holding back on her until now and after a long year she is finally here.

Second, I moved all NGD related art to a new playlist. There is already plenty of material that sets it apart from other Touhou art.

FInally, I added a main hub where I will be updating links, a FAQ, a synopsis of the main plot and other goodies. I highly recommend looking into it.

As this will be my final update this year, I am deeply thankful for all of you who have been following this series. The next year holds tons of new material I wish to work with. Thank you for everything, and have a good new year.

The stage 5 boss is out, I apologize for the delays.

One boss left, time surely flies. Why did I save the first boss for last? Is there anything special about her? That and several other questions will be answered in the future. The next goal is to finish this first boss, them reveal the next plan I have for NGD.

The original goal was to release a new boss entry by the end of November. I will be pushing the schedule further into December and delaying NGD related projects due to real life demands. In other words, the next boss will come later

The goal is still to release the last two before the end of the year however.

A fun little thing I will do once a month from this point forward. Giving attention to cool video game characters that don't get discussed that much.
