It's tricky to find balance between body markings and the clothing, in a way that the design doesn't look too busy. Nice work.

Thanks! Indeed, that's why I went for a simpler design for their clothes. A more accurate depiction of Huastec characters would have them topless or completely naked, since the tattoos were considered "clothing" in a sense. But since these are for a published book series, I won't be able to get away with that. Still, tattoos over the entire body were extremely common among them, so I had to include them.
Looks great.
Well, he certainly doesn't look Leo, Tiga, or Powered. :P
Your background art has this dream-like feel about it.
That's a quality I focus on... As this was designed to be fast and quick I try I focused. Nothing will top " Another Liminal Space ". This background would be good for a desktop though.
Both variants look great.
thanks :)
Awesome work.
I would say, this is one of my best works for the REFLECTIONS, alone make or break this.
I love the coloring.
Thanks!
Awesome work.
THX!!
I like the way you draw animals.
I like the way you draw. I tried to avoid it looking stiff compared to the original image, but capture that essence of shitposting, but.... Beautiful. I like trying to speedpaint stuff like this where the it has no right to be this good. Tried to give the bird a " DAMN! " While squaking and sort of mocking feel to it. I used one layer to do all outside some subtle canvas texture as an experiment if I like it or not. This is a mix of RGBA brush work, chaos, and knowing how to reference enough to get it to look decent.
Surprised that Capcom never did this.
In the cancelled Mega Man Universe, pne of the custom characters they showed off was a "Met Man". But yeah, he was just a mishmash of mm2 designs with a met head.
I love this.
thanks :D
Friends and family gave me the incentive to share my art, so here I am.
